National Universities Commission (NUC) Accredits New Universities in Nigeria

Good news to all Nigerians, who knows the problem faced by our ever growing population of educated youths, who are seeking for admission into various educational institutions in Nigeria. But with this new development, students will have more universities to apply for, and the ratio of failed admission will sink lower.
According to the Professor of the National Universities Commission (NUC) Julius Okojie, has disclosed that there are currently a total of One hundred and forty one (141) accredited universities, and these are divided into the following institutional bodies listed below.

NUC

40 Federal Universities,
40 State Universities,
61 Private universities.

However, one of the Schools which was recently granted accreditation by the NUC is the Federal University of Kashere in Gombe State, and a total number of 22 degree programmes were accredited.
Please take note that this is a major achievement by the university and kudos must be given to the members of staff.
The National Universities Commission (NUC) management board has been doing extremely well in increasing the quality of education in Nigeria, and by these, they continued by setting higher standards in all universities so as to make sure, that these accredited universities produces quality graduates.
