Snoop Dogg hits #1on Billboard with his very first hit gospel album "Bible of Love"

Snoop Dogg‘s first gospel album "Bible of Love" which was released on March 16, 2018, has made it to the top of the Billboard charts.

The 32-track gospel album features some new music from other inspirational artists. One of the tracks on the album is titled "Words Are Few". On the track, Snoop Dogg spits about his relationship with God along with singer B Slade. The music video even has Snoop praying in a church with a choir backing him up.

The debut album made it to number 1 on the Billboards top gospel chart with 3,144 sales in the first week.

Slay queen arrested for allegedly stealing wristwatches from a man she visited in Lagos

A yet to be identified slay queen was arrested by SARS operatives for allegedly stealing wristwatches from a man she went to visit in Lagos state.

According to the report, the man met the lady at the ATM near his home and they continued talking on Facebook. Later, the lady called him and requested to visit him in his home and he obliged and invited her over. She came to his house and allegedly stole a Swiss wristwatch and another wrist watch worth $1300

The victim tracked her through her friend and used SARS operatives to round her up. More photos below 

FG declares March 30 and April 2nd as public holidays for Easter celebrations

The Federal Government has declared Friday, March 30 and Monday 2nd April, 2018 as public holidays to mark Good Friday and Easter Monday respectively. 



The Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (retd.), made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja, by the Director Overseeing the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Julie Ejiofor. 



The minister admonished Christian faithful and Nigerians in general to employ the spiritual ethos of Easter, which include love, peace, and sacrifice, in contributing to the unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.



He also urged Nigerians “to remain supportive of the government of President Muhammadu Buhari in his efforts towards building a peaceful, united and prosperous nation.” Dambazau urged the citizens to use the occasion to pray for the peace and unity of the country. He wished all Nigerians a Happy Easter celebration.

Photo: Suspected member of dreaded cult group, Badoo, apprehended in Ikorodu

A suspected member of the dreaded cult group, Badoo, was apprehended at Ikorodu, Lagos state in the early hours of today June 21st.

According to reports, a resident of the area saw a man who was semi naked with a big stone in his hand and was attempting to gain entrance into a home at Felefon street in Ayegbami Community in Igbogbo, Ikorodu.


The resident raised an alarm and the suspect fled the compound. Youths in the area gave him a hot chase and he was apprehended. He offered them N5,000 to set him free and when they refused, he offered them N10,000.

The suspect was found with a stone, a tool Badoo cult members are known to use in carrying out their attacks. It took the intervention of the CDA Chairman (Baba Awe) and HRM Oba Abdulsemiu Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, for him not to have been killed as the youths gave him the beating of his life.

He has been handed over to the police.
